Kia has revealed the first official images of the 2021 Kia Sorento SUV. Kia has published these pictures prior to the vehicle’s Geneva Motor Show premiere next month. At the front, the new Sorento brings a broad and angular grille and picks up many of the cues established by the upcoming Kia Optima/K5.[gallery size="full" ids="15388,15384"]Kia's signature ‘tiger-nose’ grille seamlessly flows into the headlights and LED daytime running lights. The sides of the SUV are also particularly eye-catching thanks to sharp rear side windows and a decorative piece of silver trim on the C-pillar. The rear end has loads of creases and geometric openings, while the rest of the body is a bit more subtle.[gallery size="full" ids="15383,15387"]Kia has also revealed what the 2021 Sorento will look like on the inside and it is spectacular. Gathering all the attention is a large 10.12-inch touchscreen infotainment system while beneath it are some physical air conditioning and heating controls, you also get a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. The vents are shaped like trapezoids, and the door handles have a beveled square design. The dashboard features aluminum trims with diamond grid patterns. Jazzing up the interior is colorful ambient lighting and two-tone leather trim.[gallery size="full" ids="15386,15385"]While Kia is yet to announce the details behind what could power the 2021 Sorento, it could be offered in an ‘ECO Hybrid’ guise which could feature a similar 2.0-liter turbo and electric powertrain to the 2020 Kia Optima Hybrid or the V6 on the Kia Telluride's 3.8-liter could also be used for more power-hungry market. The 2021 Kia Sorento on March 3, 2020, will have its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
